Illumina NextSeq 500 Sequencer
The NextSeq 500 Sequencing System features an exceptional user interface and load-and-go workflows. The NextSeq 500 System integrates cluster generation and sequencing into a single instrument, generating base calls and quality metrics in real time. Sequencing is automated and fast, generating data in less than a day. Data are automatically transferred to the BaseSpace environment for simplified analysis, storage, and sharing.

Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer
The Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer system provides sizing, quantitation and quality control of DNA, RNA, proteins and cells on a single platform, providing high quality digital data. Minimal sample input (1-2ul) is required.

StepOne™ Real-Time PCR System
The StepOne™ Real-Time PCR System is a 48-well, low-throughput Real-Time PCR instrument perfect for both first-time and experienced users. The StepOne™ Real-Time PCR System can be setup in a variety of configurations and comes ready to use, out of the box, with intuitive data analysis and instrument control software. Utilizing robust LED based 3-color optical recording, the StepOne™ Real-Time PCR System is designed to deliver precise, quantitative Real-Time PCR results for a variety of genomic research applications.

Covaris M220 Focused-ultrasonicator
M220 Focused-ultrasonicator™ is designed for Next-Gen Sequencing applications requiring fragment sizes between 150bp and 5kb. Compact size and ease-of-use make the M220 Focused-ultrasonicator the ideal DNA shearing solution for MiSeq™ and PGM™ users. The M220 runs a variety of DNA shearing protocols with Covaris SonoLab 7 software and uses both the Covaris microTUBE™ & miniTUBE™. Integrated temperature control within the M220 eliminates the need for an external chiller, saving space and cost.

Qubit®2.0 Fluorometer
The Qubit®2.0 Fluorometer is a benchtop fluorometer for the quantitation of DNA, RNA, and protein, using the highly sensitive and accurate fluorescence-based Qubit™quantitation assays. Use of the state-of-the-art dyes selective for dsDNA, RNA, and proteinminimizes the effects of contaminants in a sample that affect the quantitation. Further, the very latest illumination and detection technologies used in the Qubit®2.0 Fluorometer for attaining the highest sensitivity allow one to use as little as 1 μL of sample and still achieve high levels of accuracy, even with very dilute samples.

Kanad High Performace Cluster
Kanad, named after the great Hindu sage thought to have originated the idea of an atom, is an IBM iDataPlex cluster at IISER Bhopal. It is the institute's first High-Performance Computing facility serving the computational needs of several research groups on campus. The iDataPlex racks are liquid-cooled and host 132 compute nodes (2112 processor cores) representing a theoretical peak performance of 44 Teraflops/sec. Each iDataPlex node runs on Intel E5-2670 series CPUs and has at least 64 GB memory. There are 4 high-memory nodes with 192 GB RAM for memory-intensive applications. The nodes are interconnected by 4X QDR InfiniBand network. The cluster has access to 100 TB of storage divided in to a home (NFS) area of 60 TB and a parallel-file system of 40 TB as scratch. With a write through-put of over 2 GB/s this file system provides invaluable I/O speed when running applications.
